No. Wiped does not jailbreak or modify your iPhone. You only need Developer Mode, LocalDevVPN, and the one-time Wiped Setup installation.
Not for phone-only spoofing. After the one-time setup, your computer can disconnect and you can control Wiped directly from your iPhone. You can still use the Wiped app on Mac or Windows whenever you prefer the desktop experience.
Wiped reminds you when renewal is due. Keep LocalDevVPN connected, open Renewal, and tap Renew Wiped. The app may close briefly while it reinstalls, which is expected. A computer is normally not required after the first setup.
When Wiped shows an update, download the latest Wiped Setup on your Mac or Windows computer and reinstall the iPhone app. Your phone will guide you if setup is needed again.
Wiped supports iPhone on iOS 17, 18, and 26. Wiped Setup supports Windows 10 or later and macOS 13 Ventura or later, including Intel and Apple Silicon Macs.
